Century Sunrise Hosts Community Forum on Rail Trail

On November 20, 2019, Century Sunrise Apartments opened its doors to the Johnson City community for a special forum on the Johnson City Rail Trail. The building hosted a large gathering of local residents, including some of our own tenants, plus community officials and local media outlets.

Residents were able to hear more about the project, and importantly, to provide valuable input to the planning process. Next steps include the consideration of the many views expressed at the meeting, in allowing planners to create their study, before coming up with a plan for the next meeting in January 2020. It is hoped that ground will be broken on the new rail trail project in summer 2020.
