Osprey Point is a new construction development consisting of 85 affordable senior rental apartments with supportive components, located in Little Ferry, Bergen County. Situated in a quiet neighborhood along the Hackensack River, Osprey Point is also near the scenic Merhof Pond.
Residents and guests will enter the building via a covered porch area that adjoins the parking lot, opening to the lobby, a nearby spacious community room and on-site manager’s office. The three residential floors will contain 64 one-bedroom apartments and 21 two-bedroom apartments, including an apartment for an on-site superintendent. The building continues Regan Development’s commitment to helping provide independent, supported living opportunities for people with special needs. There will be 14 supported apartments for people living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and 8 additional supported apartments for those needing mental health services. Regan Development will partner with Partnerships for People, the Bergen Passaic ARC and Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey to have the services to allow people to live successfully in the community.
The site plan for the project will also have ample outdoor recreational spaces for residents’ use, including walkable paths, gardens and seating areas. Regan Development is proud to work with the Borough of Little Ferry, the Bergen County Office of Community Development, the State of New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency and Berkadia to make this important development a reality.
