Kershaw Commons Wins NAHMA Communities of Quality Award

Kershaw Commons, Regan Development Corporation’s 30-unit fully accessible apartment building in Freehold, New Jersey, was recently awarded the Communities of Quality (COQ) award by the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA). This award has been honoring the best multifamily affordable housing communities across the country since 1992, recognizing how properties manage their physical, financial, and social conditions, as well as their ability to provide their residents with the highest quality of life.

The building provides specialized, accessible affordable rental apartments for people needing services provided by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Our property managers go the extra mile to help people with disabilities stay independent and vibrant in a beautiful suburban setting.  Kershaw Commons has been a life-changing experience for so many of our residents, allowing them to live in specially designed apartments with so many accessibility assistance features.

The COQ Awards was presented during a special luncheon and panel discussion with the winners on March 9, as part of the NAHMA’s Biannual Top Issues in Affordable Housing winter conference, highlighting the importance of providing high-quality affordable housing.
