Although the building goes by lavender, residents were left feeling green and happy after last weekend’s celebration, where tenants of Lavender Field Apartments in Bloomfield, CT were invited to participate in a building-wide gardening event to celebrate its first spring in operation. Lavender Field Management purchased 60 lavender plants, soil, and gardening tools to provide tenants with the opportunity to enhance the beauty of their residences. Building members spent the afternoon spreading soil, digging holes, and placing plants around the grounds of the property. Lavender is a perennial plant that will last for many years and will provide fragrant flowers. These beautiful purple plants are expected to bloom this summer, and everyone hopes to celebrate their beauty for years to come.
